Our mission is to educate and inspire New York’s citizenry about its incredible water system. We want to create a generation of concerned, educated New Yorkers who conserve and advocate for natural resources as part of their daily lives.
Students mainly attend public schools with high numbers of children from economically disadvantaged populations (Title 1) and/or immigrant families (Title 3).

We bring students on fun outdoor trips that connect them in a new way to their city. We began offering the Reservoir Tours for School Groups Program in 2014. During the spring and fall, we successfully partnered with
40 schools to offer 53 tours for students from second grade to high school. With your support, our goal for 2017 is to offer 180 tours reaching 5,000 school children!
